 New this year is an introduction to drawing and painting wildlife under the guidance of a professional wildlife artist and illustrator. Over the two days various drawing and painting techniques will be demonstrated and discussed with particular emphasis given to those most suitable for field observation. Students will be encouraged to approach the subject with open eyes and to ‘draw what they see not what they think they see’.
Each day will include a mixture of field sketching around the studio and farm as well as studio work. All levels of ability will be catered for and beginners are most welcome. You will need basic sketching and painting materials and plenty of enthusiasm!
