The Watershed is a converted barn, located in the countryside away from noise and bustle. The atmosphere is warm, rustic and full of character with plenty of facilities making it an ideal and unique location for funeral receptions.
For the EXCLUSIVE use of the studio prices will depend on exactly what level of hospitality you are looking for.
For self caterers the basic studio hire is £150. You will have to provide everything you need for the event and clear away completely afterwards.
Alternatively if you would like us to staff the event, provide the crockery, glasses etc the cost will range from £300 for a small gathering to £500 for a larger group.
For that we will provide:
A large, versatile room with seating and crockery etc for up to 50+ with experienced and friendly staff to look after you all.
A welcoming environment and dressed tables with cloths and simple flowers
A veranda and outside seating with views over farmland
Tea/coffee/sparkling elderflower which we are happy to serve alongside any additional drinks you may wish to provide
Plentiful off-road secure parking
Disabled friendly facilities
We can provide delicous farmhouse teas for your reception too - prices on application. Prices are per platter for ten people and can include sandwiches, a selection of savoury bites, scones and preserve and cream, as well as a wide range of home baked cakes, all made in the farmhouse kitchen.
A deposit of 50% is required in advance with the balance to be settled on the day. We are happy to accommodate all special dietary requirement but need know well in advance.
If you expect your reception to last later than 5pm there will be an additional charge of £25/hour.
