The snow has finally gone, hopefully for good, and we have finally started back with some fabulous courses already this month. We have a busy spring ahead of us but luckily, for those of you wishing to reboot, or enhance your artistic skills and techniques, we have some spaces still free—details below!
Vacancies: April/May
Sat 14th &/or Sun 15th Apr —Diana Seidl—iPad painting. Day one is for beginners or people wanting to refresh their knowledge— aiming to open up a whole new world to the creative artist. Day two will provide the perfect follow-on, dealing with more complex technical procedures and developing your capabilities!
Sat 21st & Sun 22nd April—John Devitt—Simple Buildings with Character in pen and wash. The weekend will cover elements of simplifying drawing to focus upon portraying the character and "feel" of a building study—simply delightful!
Sylvia Paul—Little and Large Acrylic and Paper Collage—Sat 28th &/or Sun 29th April—Two back to back fun days using collage with acrylic to create paintings of different sizes.
Trevor Osborne—Putting People into Paintings, any media—Tues 15th & Wed 16th May Students will be shown simple ways of recording gesture, character and movement to enable rapid sketching in a variety of situations. Tessa Pearson—Exploring Patterns and Colour, gardens and flowers (mixed media) - Tues 22nd & Wed 23rd May Be inspired to draw and paint in the garden which will be full of gorgeous colour and textures, using watercolour, inks, pastels and acrylics on paper and in your sketchbooks to create lively exciting mixed media pieces.
