Spring is coming—honest! After a winter of hard work redecorating the studio we are looking forward to welcoming students back when courses resume next month. The first two are full but we fortunately still have spaces left on others to offer. Please do see the NEW WEBSITE for more details.
Vacancies: March
Tues 20th & Wed 21st—Tim Fisher—Vibrant Acrylics with Introduction to Mixed Media Experiment with several techniques to achieve exciting effects and textures to push the boundaries using brushes and palette knives and even trying a bit of collage and other mediums!
Fri 23rd & Sat 24th—David Webb—Loosen up your Watercolour Landscapes Ideal for painters who find themselves becoming too obsessed with detail in their paintings. Working with a limited palette and just a few brushes, David will show you how to loosen-up your watercolour technique.
Tues 27th & Wed 28th—Sophia Flowers—Colourful and Inspirational Wet on Wet Oils Discover how easily these vibrant oils can be used to create magnificent scenes? Join Sophia and create your own painting using these pliable wet-on-wet oils achieving excellent effects with very little effort. Perfect for beginners.
Vacancies: April
Tues 10th—Louise Harward—Wire Bird Sculpture— £90 incl materials Spend the day creating an elegant wire Avocet. Louise will start with a brief demonstration and then take you step by step through the weaving process using soft copper wires. The aim of the workshop is to equip you with the technical skills and confidence to go on and make your own wire sculptures at home.
Sat 14th &/or Sun 15th—Diana Seidl—iPad painting. Day one is for beginners or people wanting to refresh their knowledge— aiming to open up a whole new world to the creative artist. Day two will provide the perfect follow-on , dealing with more complex technical procedures and developing your capabilities!
