Watershed 2017 Round-up

What an amazing year we have had. It was so lovely to see so many of you on courses throughout the year. We’ve covered all media I think, from experimental watercolour to lino printing, iPad painting to oil portraits – it’s been inspiring and very enjoyable.
The weather has been unusually dry and pretty warm too and we have enjoyed many alfresco lunches on the terrace and coffee on the veranda.
Apart from our art courses the studio has also hosted yoga retreats, music workshops, the book club, a family wedding, some birthday parties, a wake, and we finished with our fabulous Christmas Wreath evenings (pictures above) that fill the studio with laughter and the aroma of mulled wine – just a few of the many happy occasions taking place here in 2017.
We have also been busy opening up views around the studio and forging paths down to the brook to better appreciate our environment here. Some conifers by the house were sacrificed for the recent wreath making and now we have an amazing panoramic vista. I feel very fortunate!
