Harvest Supper and Ceilidh - Sunday 13th October 2019

What a fabulous event!!! Just how much fun can you have in an evening! Approximately fifty plus hardy souls came along, despite dreadful weather during the day. We were blessed however, with the sun appearing and the rain drying up just in time - the fire pits were lit outside, the steak and ale pie supper was steaming, ready for serving, and everyone rolled in dressed appropriately and clutching their bottles of wine!

The food was followed by the folk group Skedaddle and their wonderful caller and everyone danced all evening - even those who hadn't intended to - it was infectious.

We raised £1,200 with the raffle for The Firefighters Charity - our son is running the 2020 London Marathon for them.

Pudding Club 2019 - Friday 12th April 2019 at 7pm
Scaled up this year to be held in in St Osyth Village Hall and with more pomp and pagentry!! Over £2,300 raised!

This was a great success with just over 100 people sitting down to a shared savoury starter before embarking on a marathon session of ten puddings! Alan Herring was our very able Pudding Master announcing the individual puds as they were paraded to the deafening sounds of spoons being rapped on tables!

We raised £2.300 and this was shared between the St Osyth News, our monthly village magazine, and the St Osyth School PTFA who are raising funds to refurbish the school swimming pool.

Harmony Singing Workshop Donation - held on Saturday 23rd February with Chris Rowberry. Watershed decamped to the larger venue, with great accoustics, of our Parish Church for this very popular and successful event. Afterwards Watershed was able to give a donation of £250 to St Osyth News. This is our village Parish Magazine which is currently needing some financial support. There are a few pictures in the gallery!
Pudding Club Lunch - £1,042 raised!
Took place on Sunday 18th February 2018
I'm pleased to announce that we raised £1.042 for Essex and Hert's Air Ambulance at this very successful and fun party which was enjoyed by all of the forty plus diners who came. Some people managed to sample all eight puddings on offer and even come back for seconds. Most gave up a bit sooner than that. The steamed puddings were a triumph but the Sahne Quark Torte was a close second in popularity along with the raspberry roulade and most especially the honeycomb ice cream!
Garden Party - took place Sunday 27th May 2018 - nearly 60 people enjoyed the gardens on a beautiful summers afternoon. Everyone was well fed with sandwiches, scones, cakes and ice cream - all home-made - and we raised £500 for St Osyth Church!
This garden venue is now available for hire for private parties, with or without our catering!

Auction of Promises - November 2nd 2018 - over £8,500 raised! Visit this website for more details: http://stosythparishchurch.co.uk/
